About: Winter can be boring with cold dark, gloomy days and endless white snow transforming all specks of colours, barren and uninspiring. We have come up with a remedy precisely for that! Come and brighten up your dreary afternoon with vibrant colours, cool music, sampling ethnic foods, and submerge yourself in the multicultural atmosphere. There will be around 15 teams (minimum of three participants in each) representing different ethnicities, cultures and nationalities exhibiting their cultural artifacts (food, clothing, souvenirs, music). The event is strictly for exhibitory purposes and not for selling any items/goods. There will be a panel of judges to determine the winning team/s. Teams with valid receipts can be reimbursed with up to 60$ for all their expenses. First come and first serve for all participating teams and their members. Form your groups fast and register for the event!

There will be By-Election for the one vacant position of Arts & Science Director, so don’t forget to come and cast your valuable vote in the GA.

The General Assembly is the highest decision making body of the GSA.
These decisions form the basis of the campaigns, services and support the GSA offers to graduate student members. So it is necessary for you to attend the GA.

So come attend the GA let your Concordia Graduate student friends know about it and get to know about your right and make you voice heard.

Not to mention there will be lots of food and drinks available.

Use Your Knowledge to Help Fellow Students

The GSA will be running certification training programs for Concordia grad students. Now, we are creating a database of people who have already completed certifications (such as Oracle, CCNA, CAPM, etc.). Graduate students who already have certifications may be able to assist in training other students who would like to earn those certifications.

We are creating a database of all potential trainers, which we can draw from to run training sessions during the 2016-2017 academic year.

We are looking for graduate students from any faculty with any type of professional certification.

If you have a certification and might be interested in training other students who are seeking the same certification, please send a CV to academic.advocacy.gsa@gmail.com with the subject line “Certification Training Application“.

Take a Break and Play PS4 at GSA House

Visit us with your friends and enjoy some time spent playing FIFA 2016 in the GSA House for FREE!

We will soon be hosting a FIFA 2016 gaming tournament, so start practicing!

Please provide Concordia ID to the GSA office to gain access to the PS4. Full regulations regarding use of the PS4 are available at the GSA office.

REMINDER: Register Your Student Association
