Université du Québec system worried about tuition increases

A report from a committee of the Université du Québec released on 3 February 2012 expresses worry about the effects the $1625 tuition hike will have on its traditional clientele.

First generation students (those whose parents never attended university), students from low-income families, and non-traditional students, which are the students that the  Université du Québec  system was created to accommodate, are likely to be the most affected.

The whole report is available (in French only) at: http://www.uquebec.ca/communications/documents/Rapport_CAFE.pdf
