The GSA works with a number of smaller, department-based fee-levy associations in order to positively contribute to graduate student life and wellbeing. From networking events to finding a community, our sub-associations strive to enrich the experience of all graduate students at Concordia University.
Below is a full list of our sub-associations for the 2024-2025 academic year.
How to Register a Club/Association
In order to be recognized by the GSA and the University, student groups must also register with the Dean of Students Office.
By registering, student groups will be able to:
- Receive funding from GSA
- Book spaces on campus
- Apply for alcohol and food permits on campus
Groups must re-register every year starting June 1.
In order to register or re-register a student group with GSA, the proposed group must present the following documents to the faculty manager:
- Operating Budget for the Previous Academic Year (if available);
- Operating Budget for the Current Academic Year;
- Bylaws of the Association;
- Group Registration Form.
Once these documents have been received by the Faculty Manager, it must then get signed by a GSA executive before being send to the Dean of Students office for final approval.
