GSA Elections 2021-2022 | Results

After a month of campaigning, this year’s elections have drawn to a close and a new governing team has been selected by our community! This election also expands our family of associated Fee Levy groups thanks to this year’s referendum questions.

Referendum Questions

Here is the Referendum Question as it appeared on the ballot:

“Do you agree to a new fee levy of $2.50 per term to allow graduate students full access to the services offered by the CSU Legal Information Clinic, to be implemented with registration for the Fall 2021 (2212) term, in accordance with the University’s tuition, Refund, and Withdrawal Policy?”

Here is the referendum question as it appeared on the ballot: 

“Do you agree to apply a fee levy of $1.00 per semester, annually adjusted to the Consumer Price Index of Canada, applicable to GSA members, where the fee shall be used to ensure the growth and sustainability of CJLO 1690 AM, Concordia University Radio? This fee shall ensure that all graduate students are eligible for full membership privileges including but not limited to broadcast training, on-air time, promotion support for student organized events, and production facilities and equipment resources for student projects. The fee would be effective starting with the Fall 2021 (2212) term and refundable in accordance with Concordia University tuition and refund policy.”
